CFCAF 2015: MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW – FEB. 12-18, 2015 Mark your calendar now to attend the 8th year of Cabin Fever! CFCAF 2015 dates are February 12 – 18, 2015 at the Holiday Inn West, Laurel, Maryland. Each year, Kathryn Jo Ottmantries to bring a great mix of instructors plus one of the pioneers in the field is also honored. 2015 will be no different. There is a great line-up of instructors in addition to honoree, Maureen Peck Carlson. Yes, that's me! Sounds like fun. I'll be collecting stories as part of my work there at Cabin Fever, so come and tell me yours. Class: A Balancing Act: Kinetic Art for the Creative Office A Maureen Carlson Class at Cabin Fever Clay Festival 2015. Pictured is one variation for creating these fun desktop toys. Painting and inking are optional. The alcohol ink coloring steps will be demonstrated and directions will be given for completing that step at student's leisure when they return to their home workspace. |

Spinners and Whirligigs: Artful Toys for the Creative Desktop Yes, it spins! The primary sculpting and stacking steps will be completed in class. The inking and painting steps will be done as a demo, with directions for completing this step at home. |
