ZOMBIES

Create a Zombie character from Polymer Clay, a creepy one, with outstretched arms and weird eyes. You might even be able to make a couple, not quite a horde, but enough to stick behind a book on the bookshelf, or next to your mom's computer. Can you think of other places where a e a 4-inch tall Zombie might prowl?

Create an Animal Box with a Secret Compartment

These whimsical animals are built to come apart at their middles to reveal a secret compartment. What might you hide in the middle of a calico cat or inside an elephant's belly? Coins? Notes? Keys? Special pebbles or pieces of string?

Since these animals are made of polymer clay, they are washable and quite durable, though they shouldn't be used as containers for food.

Tea Cup Fairies
Made with Polymer Clay

These little fairies will be created to sit inside your teacup, wings and all.  But they could also perch on a branch or tiny bench. These fairy designs will be simple enough for 6 year olds but fun for all ages to make. You could even design one to sit in your fairy garden. Come and see what fairy appears there in your hands as you squish and roll and form the clay. You might be surprised! Please bring your own teacup, bench or stool for your fairy to sit upon. Of course, she might just prefer to sit flat on a lily pad. What do you think?

Wild and Wonderful Dragons
Made with Polymer Clay

Wonderful.  Dangerous.  Pretty.  Scary.  Beautiful.  Devious.
These are all words that could describe your dragon creation.  What will your dragon be?  Will it be bright and colorful or darker with spots?

Come and create the dragon of your imagination

Is it stone or is it clay?

Beginning Sculpting in Polymer Clay

Do you love to collect stones when you're at the beach or by the river? If so, save a couple of small ones, no more than 5 inches tall, to bring to class. We'll look at the stones and see if there is a place where we might add clay to make the stone come to "life", so to speak, or at least to have a face and a personality.

This is a fun beginning sculpting class as you'll learn basic techniques but will have the freedom to make it look however you like.

The resulting pieces will be part clay and part stone. Can you tell where the clay starts and stops in the pictured pieces?

Zipper Pulls and Charms

Made with Polymer Clay

Make tiny bugs. Make little cat faces. Make miniature sandwiches and hamburgers and pizza's. Then turn them into charms that you can wear. They can also be used as zipper pulls or cell phone charms. Colorful. A little weird. A lot of fun.

Polymer Clay Bakeshop: Cookies and Cakes
Made with Polymer Clay

They look good enough to eat, but they won't fill you up very much! They're only big enough to feed a mouse or a doll or a troll. These miniature foods would be perfect for your dollhouse, playset, fairy garden or even as a charm. You might even place a few on the fencepost to see if the elves stop by for a chat. Maybe. Can you imagine it? Come and play with clay and see what happens.

Magical Unicorns

Made with Polymer Clay
It's a horse. It's a pony. No, look, it has a horn. Just one. It must be a unicorn!

Braid some flowers and ribbons into its mane and it will be ready to live in the magical forest of your dreams .... or maybe in your fairy garden or on your bookshelf next to your copy of Harry Potter. Anything is possible!
