Hello,
Looking for an unusual gift for a friend or loved one
that conveys your thoughts and feelings? A finished example is shown to the left. Refer to the bottom picture for more information and choices you must make when ordering a stone. In the example to the left, the upper portion of the stone, "May you Always" and the flower is already set in concrete. The next word down is a verb that you choose. At this time, you may select any verb. In this example, I selected the verb "REMEMBER". (See the lower picture for more verb ideas) At a later date only certain verbs of my choosing may be used. But for now I'm accepting any verb of your choice. For the bottom half of the stone, you select the message that you want on your stone. The space you have for your message must be within the circle (8" wide by 4" high). If you wish, the message could be a graphic without words. I can duplicate almost anything you draw, although the smaller it is, the harder to duplicate in concrete. Let your imagination go and design a unique message. Then choose the background color of the circle. The flower and the verb will be stained the same color as the background color that you choose. And the background color behind the flower will be a bit lighter. I chose terra cotta in this example. It will take 1-2 weeks to finish your stone. It must dry and cure enough to prevent breakage. Also the colors will fade somewhat when drying and I may have to do some touch up work. Other ideas and suggestions are welcomed. Please email me. ....Dan

Before
Finished Pet Stone for P-Nut
|
Hi, People have been asking me for a stone for their favorite deceased pet. So I came up with one. I used my dog, P-Nut, as an example. Of course I didn't put the date of her death in, but you get the idea where the date will go. In the picture of the stone it's hard to read the messages along the border because they are so small. But one reads, "Thank you for being my friend." And the other one reads, "Thank you for our time together." You may choose the background color, I used Terra Cotta for this one. If you have your pet's ashes, another option is to mix the ashes in with the cement for the top layer of the stone. If you email or send me a colored picture of your pet, I will try my best to duplicate the likeness in stone. Thank you,
