I CAN'T DEAL WITH THE BLUES ANYMORE

I can't deal with blues anymore
No, I can't deal with the blues anymore
Sometimes I wonder what life is for
Cause I can't deal with the blues anymore
No no no now listen to what I say(come on)

When I was young it was easy to play the waiting game
But after all these years things are not the same
And there's a whole lot of truth to what I've been told
At the end of the rainbow there's no pot of gold

I used to play my guitar on the beach on a sunny afternoon
Now that broken old guitar won't play another tune
All the dreams I had of the future are now in the past
Having shattered in the sand like bits of broken glass

As I sat looking at the water wondering what life was for
I knew I couldn't deal with the blues anymore

All my great ideas someone else has stole
And left me standing out in the cold
Why, I know not what for
It left me feeling mighty damn sore
If only I could even the score
But I can't deal with the blues anymore
No no no
I can't deal with the blues

It was early in the morning about a quarter to four
I woke up to someone knocking on my front door
I knew right away how the day would begin
Those nasty old blues were trying to break their way in
It happens this way at the break of dawn
They hang around all day their never gone
Some are even camping on my front lawn

I would like to build a boat and sail away
And not have to deal with this another day
To live always happy and do what I choose
And say good bye forever to the blues to the blues

Never have to wonder what life is for
Because. . .I can't deal with the blues anymore
I can't deal with the blues anymore

No no no now listen to what I say(come on)
I can't deal, I can't deal with the blues anymore

No no no no no no no
I can't deal.
