Lyrics of Now I'm really really blue

Well here I am again fishing, yea, fishing down by this old creek
Have not had a bite for hours, heck, I ain't had a bite all week
I think it's time for a change you know it's never too late
And I know I could do better if I would only use some bait

Sitting in the sun gave me a really really bad sunburn
Could have sat in the shade I guess, I guess I'll never learn
My old dog sitting beside me just let out a mournful groan
It's his way of letting me know when he thinks it's time to go back home
He said we better get started, it's a long way back to town
And we both are walking since your old truck decided to break down

Yes I'm blue I'm really really blue
I'm really really blue
If you had just half of my problems
I would still be twice as blue as you
If it wasn't for misery I wouldn't have much to do
If you had just half of my troubles
I would still be twice as blue.

I stopped at the Post Office to pick up my mail
My bills alone could fill up a big old five gallon pail
I would go ahead and pay them all except for just one little quirk
It makes me blue that I can't do because I can't find no work

Now there is a big old hole in my porch steps
They are starting to fall down
The Repo Man fell through them
The last time he was in town

He wants to repossess my old house
He wants to seize my old boat
And I still have three payments left
On a four year old winter coat

Yes I'm blue I'm really blue
I'm really really really blue
If you had just half of my problems
I would still be twice as blue as you
And if it wasn't for misery I wouldn't have much to do
If you had just half of my troubles
I would still be twice as blue.

But the worst thing that could happen
Has got to be the saddest of them all
That's when my old dog ran away
It happened earlier this Fall
I didn't think much of it the day he slipped out my back door
But then he turned his head and I think he said
I can't stand living here with you no more

Now I know he is just playing dumb
And he's at his favorite Mall
But oh how I wish he would write just once
Or at least give me a call

I'm blue (Yes I am)
I'm really really blue
If you had half of my problems
You would be blue too. (Yes you would)

(Fade away into blueness)

Now I'm blue
I'm really really blue
Yes I'm really, really, really blue.
Thank You!!
